Water Displacing Oil is a solvent based, semi-permanent oil coating designed for use on metal surfaces for protection against corrosion. It contains a water displacing additive so that water or moisture is displaced from the article to be coated. Once the article is coated with Water Displacing Oil the solvent is allowed to evaporate leaving a thin layer of oil.
