Treatment for rinses from chromating processes prior to disposal. more
Chromating processes for aluminium and zinc produce acidic rinse water containing fluoride, hexavalent and trivalent chromium, together with dissolved aluminium and other metals. These must be removed in order to meet sewer disposal limits. Phosphate and sulphate may also have to be removed to meet sewer limits in some circumstances.
