Okemcoat F1 is the basis for a unique patented liquid chemical treatment that prevents white rust and storage stains on zinc and zinc aluminum coated steel surfaces commonly referred to as galvanized and galvalume. The dual action conversion and depositional coating established by Okemcoat F1 provides a clear, hard, colorless film that seals out corrosion and prevents staining between processing operations and for storage periods of varying duration. Okemcoat F1 is ideally suited to continuous strip line applications.

Okemcoat F2 is a liquid chromate product specifically formulated for the prevention of white rust and storage corrosion on zinc coated and zinc alloy coated steels. This process instruction contains important information about the preparation and replenishment of the Okemcoat F2 process, as well as pertinent laboratory test specification.
